Jamie Lefkowitz
Lefkowitz Law Group, APC, based in Los Angeles, is an Immigration Law firm that represents individuals and businesses across the US and around the World. Specialty areas include but are not limited to Marriage and Employment based Visas, asylum, defense (both detained and non-detained), and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.
Jamie Lefkowitz, the firm’s owner and CEO, worked for a large insurance company prior to finding her niche and passion in immigration defense. Immediately prior to becoming a solo practitioner, Lefkowitz worked for one of the largest immigration defense firms in Los Angeles, during which time she helped nearly five hundred individuals and their families obtain lawful U.S. residency status.
Representing the interests of undocumented persons is Lefkowitz’s main focus and passion. She frequently takes part in State and Federal legislative and advocacy efforts relating to issues that impact her clients in the area of immigration law. Most recently, she argued before the Ninth Circuit Appeals and won in the landmark, published case Reyes-Linares v. Lynch, No. 12-71142 (9th Cir. 2016).
