DBA’s
Fictitious Business Names or “Doing Business As” (DBAs) is the most common and inexpensive way for a person, partnership, or other legal entity to either start up a new business or change the name of their business and keep their protected legal liability status if applicable.
For a DBA to be considered legally operational, it must record its Fictitious Business Name Statement with the County in which the business is operating and then publish the recorded Statement with a Newspaper of General Circulation for four consecutive weeks.
Let Legal Dox take all of the guesswork out of having to form your DBA.
